Gladstone, we’re much classier than this

YET again the police are left picking up the pieces after another race day, as individuals who can't hold their liquor go and do stupid things around town.

Seriously Gladstone, aren't we classier than that?

I'm sure we've all had the odd occasion where we've ended up tipsy, or even drunk, but to constantly go out, get smashed and be a nuisance to others around you is just not on.

It also gives you a bad reputation and lowers people's thoughts about you.

Maybe you don't care about that, but your employer will, and there are future ramifications if illegal activity is involved.

The men can be bad enough, but when the ladies, with their miniscule dresses and tall heels, are lying in the gutter with their knickers on show - it's cringeworthy.

It's time to start planning your nights out and organising where you'll stay and how to get there.

C'mon Gladstone - we can do much better.
