Gladstone set for another hot Spring day
GLADSTONE is heading for another warm day after the mercury topped 35 degrees on Sunday.
Monday's temperature is tipped to reach 34 degrees in a hot, partly cloudy day.
There's a slight chance of a shower in the south of the region during the afternoon.
It was 22 degrees this morning, but that is set to climb rapidly.
Tuesday and Wednesday are predicted to reach 31 degrees, with possible thunderstorms.
It was a warm weekend, with a maximum temperature of 35 at Gladstone Airport on Sunday, close to the highest November temperature on record, which is 36.7.
In other parts of the state, Brisbane recorded its warmest November day in six years with the temperature soaring to 39.8 degrees on Sunday afternoon.
On the Sunshine Coast, Beerburrum recorded its hottest November day on record with 43.
Local fire bans are in place for the Brisbane and south-eastern region, and parts of the north coast and south western regions, including Bundaberg and the Fraser Coast.
