Gladstone Police have busy start to the weekend

GLADSTONE region police have already had a busy weekend after charging two drink-drivers and three people for public nuisance.

A 19-year-old was stopped on Cooloola Close, South Gladstone at 3.20am on Saturday with an alleged blood alcohol content of 0.078.

A 24-year-old woman was stopped at 12.35am on Taragoola Rd, Calliope with an alleged blood alcohol content of 0.079.

At 12.55am a 22-year old man was charged with public urination on Yarroon St, Central Gladstone, followed at 1.03am by a 23-year-old man being charged with the same offence, also on Yarroon St.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with public nuisance after an incident in Breslin St at 9.40pm on Friday.
