THE Gladstone entertainment scene is pumping with three of the country's hottest acts secured by a local tavern.

Popular bands The Beards and Wolfmother will take to the stage in June, while blues musician Ash Grunwald will play tonight at The Harvey Road Tavern.

The trio are sure to be well received by music heads in the Gladstone region.

The Beards' vocalist Facey McStubbington said he was excited at the opportunity to convince more men to grow a beard via their quirky music.

"We are very excited, we are looking forward to coming to your community," he said.

"We say we are going on tour; we are more scouting. We are providing a public service."

The Beards will perform at The Harvey Road Tavern on June 26 while Aussie rock group Wolfmother will perform on June 5 at the same venue. Buy tickets at the bar.
