Gladstone drug dealer jailed for $100,000 operation

ANOTHER key player in the Gladstone drug trade appeared in the Supreme Court of Rockhampton on Monday morning.

Peter Jon Granzien pleaded guilty to one count of trafficking dangerous drugs.

The 33-year-old and a number of other dealers were picked up during Operation Juliet Hoodoo last year.

The court heard the defendant had dealt significant quantities of cannabis and methyl amphetamines over a period of almost six months.

It was alleged the minimum value of Granzien's operation was close to $100,000.

Granzien was sentenced to seven years and three months imprisonment with a parole eligibility date set at February 19, 2015.
