Gladstone dads feel the love for Father's Day

GLADSTONE dads are in for a great day on Father's Day, and their special weekend starts with tributes from loved ones.

We asked our readers and Facebook likers to share photos of their dads, and add a special message.

The contributions came thick and fast, as partners and kids paid tribute to hard working, caring, supportive dads.

Cheree said her dad Dale Fox had always stood by her with any decisions she had made, bad or good.

"He has always made sure my son and I don't go without and has always supported me," she said.

Elly Hayes said her dad was the best dad anyone could ask for.

"He has taught me so many life skills from work ethic to how to scale and fillet a fish. He even use to let me paint his nails and have tea parties with me when I was little."

And who doesn't love a dad who helps you home after a big night out?

Angelina Taylor wrote: "My dad is the best because he devotes all his time and energy to us kids.

"He also has some sick moves on the dance floor, oh and he once pushed me home in a shopping trolley from the club because we couldn't get a cab. That's love!"

We hope every dad has a happy Father's Day!
