Gladstone attracts metal bands for show today
GLADSTONE music lovers Aaron Barrett and Nathan Kent are putting all their effort into establishing a better live music scene in Gladstone.
The pair secured a Gladstone show as part of the 18 city Metal United Down Under festival, held today.
More than 130 bands will play across the nation today for the event.
The Gladstone leg of the event has secured 12 acts, including headlining bands Azreal, Red in Tooth, The Black Swamp and In Death.
It will kick off at 2pm today at the Rocky Glen Hotel with the first band set to hit the stage at 2.30pm.
Bands will play 30 minute sets, and the four headliners will play for 45 minutes.
Tickets are available at the door and are $40.
