GLADSTONE Gladiators are home to a few speed machines and a top gun.

The Gladiators sent 20 swimmers to the Beef City Carnival at Rockhampton Grammar School on October 19.

A total of 14 clubs attended with 191 swimmers competing.

Five club swimmers grabbed Speed Machine titles for 50m freestyle wins in their age groups - Hamarna Williams, 11, Rongo Goodhew, 13, Michael Pacheco, 14, Patrick Crowe, 15, and Andrew McLean, who took out the 16 years and over title.

The Top Gun Title for the fastest 50m male swimmer went to the Gladiators' Patrick Crowe.

Gladiators were on fire in the relays with the boys' A team coming first and the B team coming second in both the freestyle and medley relays.

The club also had some age champion winners including Coby Richardson, Hamarna Williams, Ayden Tchernegovski, Jack Cartwright, Patrick Crowe and Andrew McLean.

Age runners-up were Drew Bebendorf, Jacinta Thefs, Rongo Goodhew, Scott Randle.
