Girl, 12, charged with attempted murder for school stabbing

A 12-YEAR-OLD girl has been charged with attempted murder after an incident at an education facility in Caboolture on Monday. 

Police will allege at 9.15am, the girl threatened another 12-year-old girl with a knife.

It will be further alleged there was a struggle in which the victim received minor injuries to her neck and hands before a staff member intervened and disarmed the girl. 

The Caboolture girl has been charged with attempted murder and will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act.
