Getting hitched? Wedding expo is the place to be

IF YOU'RE thinking about getting married or even planning a hen's party, the Wedding and Special Events Expo is the place to be this weekend.

Held at the new Gladstone Events Centre at Yaralla Sports Club, the event is on Sunday from 10am-2pm.

There will be 34 stalls ranging from wedding vehicles, photography, cake, florists, photo booths, wedding planners and invitation specialists.

Gladstone Festival and Events event coordinator Abi Galbraith said the expo wouldn't just be focused on weddings.

"It's a chance for stallholders to show what they can do for other special events such as photographers doing pregnancy shoots etc," she said.

Ms Galbraith said she was hoping for 500 people to come through the doors.

There is a $5 entry fee that includes automatic entry into lucky door prize.
