Girl Friday enjoys helping people find their dream home

FINDING people their dream home is all in a day's work for Georgie O'Meara.

The bubbly 23-year-old is a residential salesperson at Knight Frank real estate Gladstone.

"I love it," she said.

"It's really exhilarating and exciting. I get to help people find their perfect dream home.

"Every day is different.

"It's something a little bit more exciting than your average office job."

Georgie and partner Chris Laider moved to Gladstone from Bermagui in New South Wales three years ago, for Chris's work on Curtis Island.

"We were only meant to be here for two years," Georgie said.

"But we've stayed for another one now."

In her spare time the real estate seller enjoys going to the beach.

The pair also loves to travel.

Georgie modelled clothing from Tannum Sands store, Luceo, for the Saturday, January 25 copy of The Observer.

But she said it was not her first modelling experience.

"I did a photo shoot down in Sydney," she said.

"I have done one for Luceo previously too. It's fun.

"You get to try on clothes that usually you might not be able to afford.

"And you get your hair and make-up done."
