Gentlemen, start your engines

RACING revheads from all over the state ripped into gear and burnt some serious rubber in Gladstone on the weekend.

More than 100 racers and their custom cars roared into round two of the JP Racing Eighth Mile Drag Racing Series at Benaraby raceway.

The series got started at Willowbank Raceway on April 21.

Following this weekend's meet at Benaraby raceway, the series will head to Warwick Dragway next for both the third and final rounds.
