GAPDL CEO Glenn Churchill resigns
GLADSTONE Area Promotion and Development Ltd CEO of seven years Glenn Churchill has resigned.
GAPDL announced his resignation earlier today.
They noted some of his best achievements, such as bringing Queensland's first Mobile Information Service and leading the Bass to Barra Trail initiative.
The organisation's chairperson Leigh Zimmerlie said they wished Glenn the very best with his future plans.
"Glenn has served the organization for over seven years and we wish Glenn all the very best for his future plans.
"Glenn's tenure has seen numerous wonderful outcomes for both the organisation and the Gladstone Region, a few key achievements include ... the Gladstone Region selected as a port of call for P&O cruise liners commencing 2016 and played an instrumental role in the Southern Great Barrier Reef tourism platform," she said.
"Glenn's influence will be missed at GAPDL, but the organisation will continue to move forward into our 2015-2016 year and set strategic plans," Ms Zimmerlie said.
