Funeral for Callum Ryan held on Friday

A FUNERAL service will be held today for Gladstone man Callum Ryan, 20, who was killed in a triple fatality car accident last week.

Mr Ryan is the son of Tim and Gay, big brother to Kaitlyn, and partner to Rachelle.

The service will be held at St Saviour's Anglican Church, Auckland St, Gladstone, at 12.30pm, before proceeding to Port Curtis Lawn Cemetery.

The former Toolooa State High School student was in a vehicle with two Aurizon workmates, Maurice Dunbavan and Neil Pettit, when the crash occurred near Stanwell on October 9.

Mr Ryan was known in the community as a helpful young man and a pleasure to be around.

He loved sport and followed rugby league, rugby, American football and basketball.
