Fundraising reunion event now open for locals to enjoy

Gladstone student's 1996 reunion is now open to all residents who wish to get involved in the fundraising event.

Held at the Reef Hotel this Saturday night, they will have an auction, live music and two hours of nibblies.

The event will raise money to purchase 'buddy benches' at Gladstone schools.

Organiser Sarah Bridgeman said they decided to open the event up to the public after they received an overwhelming amount of support from local businesses donating auction prizes.

Some auction prizes include:

- AFL grand final 2017 pack including

- Vouchers from local businesses

- Artwork

- Travel vouchers and much more

Currently it is a silent auction, however on the night the winning bids will be announced and people will have the opportunity to out-bid for the items.

There are limited tickets available, and at $20 each they're expected to go quickly.

See their Facebook page "96's 20th year reunion and anti-bullying campaign fundraiser."
