Funding boost for two local events

BOYNE Tannum Hook Up and the Silver Spurs' Equestrian Extravaganza have received a combined $23,000 from the Gladstone Regional Council's third round of Major Events Advisory Panel funding.

The panel identifies the region's current strengths and weaknesses in the increasingly competitive events domain and to investigate new opportunities.

The Hook Up received $15,000 while the All Breeds Equestrian Extravaganza received $8000.
