Fun times on entertainment menu with Peking Duk

GLADSTONE has been inundated with high-quality acts drawn to local stages, with Peking Duk on top of the list.

Reuben Styles and Adam Hyde are two guys making it big in the music industry, with Gladstone next on their calendar.

Known for their hits High and Take Me Over, the boys will perform to a strong crowd at the Harvey Road Tavern on Friday night, with tickets selling fast.

Pulse caught up with Adam to chat about what it's like being Peking Duk.

Have you visited Gladstone before? Do you know much about Gladstone?

We don't know a thing about Gladstone but it sounds like a fun time.

We love Queensland and all the Queenslegends so any party up there is always a sweaty, sweaty great time.

People are pretty excited about you guys coming to the Harvey Road Tavern. What's in store for fans?

Sweat, love, party tunes and a whole lot of good times.

Working on anything at the moment?

Working on a lot of fun things for fun people. Tunes are always being worked on, more than likely while we are on a road trip up to Gladstone.

Where did you get the name of the band from?

Long story. Essentially the food is good, but the partying is much better.

What goals do you have for the future?

We are all about champagne and hot dogs. Hopefully we can work hard and play hard and keep earning them hot dogs and champagne.

If you weren't musicians what would you be doing?

Either break dancing for money on the streets of Oakland or tap-dancing on the streets of Oakland (California) for cookies.

TICKET INFORMATION: Tickets cost $35 over the bar, doors open at 7.30pm
