"It definitely was a fun match and we got a lot of the girls and guys as well as young kids playing," Lynch said.
He also added that it was a good hit-out against some players who are as adept at serving food and drinks on the cruise ship as they are at handling the ball.
"We hoped for no injuries and it was just for enjoyment," division four player Lynch said.
While Lynch sat out the friendly, he was impressed with the skill of the opposition.
"It was good for the crew who are trapped on the boat to get out there and have fun," Lynch said.
Club crew president Odean Reneel said the game was something that was in the plan with Avis Gladstone director Richard Hyne.
"We usually have ports to play, but we had never enough players," Reneel said. "I was just happy for all of us to get out there and play."
