Free copies of Microsoft Office for state school families

ALL Queensland state school students and staff can now download multiple free copies of the latest Microsoft Office to their personal home computers and mobile devices.

With Office 2016, students and staff will have access to the latest version of Word for writing, Excel for spreadsheets, PowerPoint for presentations, OneNote for organisation and notetaking, and much more.

Thanks to the offer students and teachers can install a complete version of the latest Microsoft Office on up to five compatible PCs, Macs, tablets and smartphones.

This isn't a 30-day trial either, the subscription lasts for as long as recipients are a Queensland state school student, or employed by the department.

Since the offer began last month uptake has been significant with more than 45982 students and teachers taking advantage of the deal and installing the program on their personal devices.

For more information or to make arrangements to speak with a school in your area about how the free program is helping staff and students, please give me a call on 3328 6623 or email joshua.mcwaters@dete.qld.gov.au.
