Four charged with drug driving at Agnes in 24 hours
FOUR people were caught driving under the influence of drugs in 24 hours at Agnes Water and Seventeen Seventy this weekend.
Officers from Gladstone and Calliope helped Agnes Water police with random breath and drug testing during the Captain Cook 1770 Festival.
Just one person was caught drink driving, but the operation showed not everyone was following the rules.
Agnes Water Senior Constable Simon Burns said hundreds were tested.
Although the numbers were relatively low, Sen Const. Burns said it was still disappointing to think people were driving under the influence.
"A large number of people were abiding by the rules," Sen Const. Burns said.
"Unfortunately there are obviously still some people driving under of the influence of both drugs and liquor."
