Bus stop graffiti mocking Liberals goes viral

CLEVER? Maybe, maybe not.

Hilarious? Absolutely.

It seems a Brisbane larrikin has been inspired by a poster for the movie "The Inbetweeners 2" and its tag line, 'Four reasons to get out of Australia" -- replacing the heads of its four stars with Australia's top Liberal pollies.

From left to right, the faces of the cast have been replaced with (from left) Treasurer Joe Hockey, Education Minister Christopher Pyne, Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Environment Minister Greg Hunt.

The image popped up on Reddit on Sunday, earning it more than 2392 positive votes on the site's Australian community or "subreddit".

Commenter "The_Valar" said it was a shame the graffiti artist didn't do a better job of matching the politicians to the characters themselves.

"Tony Abbott is the head-in-the-clouds romantic (Simon), that can't understand why nothing goes his way," he wrote"

"Greg Hunt is the intelligent worrier (Wil), that ony goes along with the dumbass plans of his associates in the hope they'll remain his friends.

"Christopher Pyne is the crude, rude jerkoff (Jay) who turns away everyone he meets with a smarmy attitude and a idiotic grin.

"Leaving Joe Hockey as the bumbling idiot (Neil) who isn't even made a joke of by his friends because that would be too cruel, and he's constantly doing it to himself without even realising."

The wayward artist has chosen only to use Liberal Party ministers, ignoring Nationals Leader Warren Truss and any figures from the Labor Opposition.

Flamboyant minor party leader Clive Palmer is also notably absent.

The bus-stop is on Brisbane's Roma Street, in front of the train station's car park.

An earlier version of this article listed the politician on the far-right as Immigration Minister Scott Morrison, it is Environment Minister Greg Hunt.
