Woman who provided years of support is farewelled
WITH a little apprehension, a twinge of sadness and a lot of excitement, Brenda Beauchamp was farewelled by her sisterhood at the Women's Health Centre on Wednesday.
After 17 years of providing invaluable support and friendship to the extraordinary network she has developed in Gladstone, Ms Beauchamp is relocating to Brisbane to pursue a career dream.
Graduating from a Bachelor Degree in Health Promotion in 2011, Ms Beauchamp is looking forward to a new venture.
Manager Sandy Prizeman said the turnout for her farewell was a great indication of the legacy she leaves behind.
"Brenda has provided a strong foundation for our centre," she said.
"She will be dearly missed; we wish her well and hope it is everything she has dreamed of."
