Five teams go to Rocky for finals

FIVE Gladstone Mudcrabs and BITS Saints teams will fight for survival in the Capricornia AFL this weekend, the minor semi-final day beginning the first of four week's of finals in the competition.

Three teams from the Saints can advance to playoff for a grand-final spot, while two Gladstone teams will compete in the under-15 and women's competitions.

Only a maximum of four teams from the area can win through though, the women's match involving both Gladstone and the Saints.

The semi-finals begin with BITS playing Yeppoon in the under-13s at Stenlake Park, Rockhampton, at 8.30am Saturday.

BITS have under-15s, women and reserve grade playing, all at the same venue.
