FIFO inquiry meeting held today in Gladstone

GLADSTONE residents can have their say on the parliamentary inquiry investigating employment in the mining industry and fly in fly out arrangements today.

A hearing will be held between 3 - 5pm today at The Oaks Grand Hotel.

The public hearings began in Mackay and Moranbah earlier this week and will continue in the Gladstone and Bowen Basin regions.

More than 200 signatures have been already signed for the inquiry, which is looking into FIFO practices and its impact.
