Vehicle engulfed in flames on Cunningham Hwy

PASSENGERS have been lucky to escape a burning car on the Cunningham Highway near Maryvale this morning.

Fire crews were called at 9.39am and found the vehicle fully alight upon arrival.

Early reports indicate no injuries and all persons were able to exit the vehicle before crews arrived.

Passer-by Jaboa Campbell said the car was completely engulfed in flames when she drove past about 10am this morning.

Police reports confirm the fire has been extinguished.
