Family uses social media in search for missing son
THE family of missing Boyne Valley man Kurt Kempton has taken to social media to ask for details of his whereabouts.
Mr Kempton's parents fronted a news conference with Gladstone police on Friday, pleading for information from the public.
His mother, Jacqui Kempton, also has spread the word on Facebook.
"We have had to report our son Kurt Kempton missing," she wrote.
"If you could please share this post to get his picture out there I would certainly appreciate it.
"If you read this Kurt, please get in contact with us to let us know you are safe."
Kurt, 26, left the family home on September 11 in a grey 2012 dual-cab Holden Colorado with the Queensland registration 780-TQG.
Mrs Kempton said it was unusual for Kurt to be gone for so long.
