Fake Campbell Newman arrested in I'm With Stupid shirt

POLICE have arrested the man responsible for a Campbell Newman parody Twitter account after an alleged dispute during state election campaigning in Fortitude Valley.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said officers arrested and charged a 44-year-old New Farm man with public nuisance in the wake of a complaint made during the "political activity" on Thursday morning.

"We got the first call about 8.30. There was some political activity going on," he said.

"There was a guy who was being disruptive, pushing people around and stuff like that."

The man arrested was Iain Fogerty, the man behind the @Can_Do_Campbell Twitter account.
