Facebook search for missing woman ends well

A FACEBOOK search for a missing woman was over before it began on Thursday, after she had been reported missing for just over 24 hours.

The woman, up from Caboolture to visit her partner, had been last seen at the Gladstone Library at about 11am on Wednesday, before she vanished.

A frantic callout ensued, with her partner, Paul Smith, spreading word about his missing fiancee over social media, as well as notifying Gladstone police and detectives.

Luckily there was no tragic end to the disappearance, with word that the missing woman, Suzy Richardson, had been located early Thursday afternoon, bringing the search to a close.
