Expect exciting thrills and spills

X MARKS the spot at Jono Porter Drive this weekend, as two clubs are joining forces to produce a two-wheel, two-day event.

The Enduro X is being put on by the Gladstone District Dirtriders Club and the Curtis Coast Trail Riders Club at the Jono Porter Memorial Drive raceway.

The action runs over two days, with nominations for the enduro being taken between 7am and 10am on Saturday only. The loop opens at 10am for riders and 8am Sunday.

The Enduro X is open to club members and non-club members, and a recreational license can be acquired for $25. Enduro X entry fees are $35 for seniors, $20 juniors and $10 for pee wee.

Club memberships range from $35 to $60 for all those interested in joining.

Expectations are for 150 to 200 riders to attend.

Camping is available and the bar and canteen will be operating all weekend.

The Gladstone District Dirtriders Club will hold its final club day for this year on October 17.
