Enjoy a jam at inaugural Country Music Campout

IF YOU love camping and music over a serene camp fire, then this event is ideal for you.

The inaugural Country Music Campout is set to attract many as people gather their tents and swags and journey to the Boyne Valley Discovery Centre in Ubobo, Central Queensland for the weekend of Friday and Saturday, November 30 and December 1, 2012.

One of the event organisers Jeannie Kleynhans said the event is going to be a whole lot of fun.

"On the Friday night we're going to have acoustic around the camp fire," she said.

"Then Saturday we're going to have all the sound gear set up on stage. We can then have people come up and sing.

"If anyone wants to camp out, they also need to ring up and book."

The event is proudly supported by Elders Real Estate, Gladstone Gig Guide, White Lighting Entertainment and St John Ambulance.

Camping will cost $10 per night or to stay in the well equipped homestead will cost $20 per night.

Facilities include full amenities, kitchen, barbecue and internet.
