Savvy businesswoman stitches up career in retail
PEOPLE told her she wouldn't succeed, but that just made her work harder.
Today Emma Stupkin, 26, has a lot to show for her efforts, as the proud owner of 3Style Clothing in Goondoon St.
"It's certainly taught me more than you can imagine," she said.
Emma knew she wanted fashion in her future when she started as a shop assistant for Gladstone's male clothing store Emale at 15.
She was 17 when she decided to venture into her own women's boutique store.
"At the time in Gladstone there was a desperate need for it," she said.
"It was the first to introduce fashion for women (with boutique labels)."
