A hard training regime has been the perfect recipe for full-time chef Williams, who juggles 60-hour working weeks with his other job as an auxiliary with the Gladstone Fire Department.
"Preparations have been good and I have been training three times a day," Williams said.
"Each training sessions vary between one to two-hours which involves everything from technique, sparring, conditioning weights and running."
The championship format is by knock-out, but Williams has form on his side to go the distance.
"I compete in a lot of competitions and last year at the states I got two bronze," he said.
Williams also won gold, silver and bronze at the 2014 National Championships at white belt level.
Powerhouse Hindley said he cannot thank enough Gladstone Martial Arts Academy instructor Rob McIntyre, Williams and Kaela 'Tiger' Banney.
"Without them I would not be where I am today," diesel fitter Hindley said.
He has won a swag of medals at recent events.
"I'm feeling confident, good and am feeling fit and ready to roll," Hindley said.
"Bling is a bonus, experience is the key and the more I'll learn then the better I'll be."
