Dwarf allosaur spotted at mall

IT’S not everyday that you find a dinosaur stomping and roaring his way through a shopping centre. But yesterday saw a Dwarf Allosaur take over Stockland Gladstone.

Here as part of Erth’s Petting Zoo, which is on at the Entertainment Centre today, the dinosaur delighted and frightened unsuspecting shoppers.

“That’s a real dinosaur,” one wide-eyed youngster said to her mother.

“It’s great – yikes,” said an excited Ethan Sellin, 5.

The Dwarf Allosaur stomped its way through the centre, letting the kids pat him and stopping for a meat fix at the Deli.

Erth is a Sydney-based theatre company that has been touring Australia and overseas for about 20 years. Their Dinosaur Petting Zoo features a range of Australian dinosaurs for the kids to interact with.

Take the kids along to Erth’s Dinosaur Petting Zoo today at the Gladstone Entertainment Centre. Tickets range from $8.50 to $15 and are available at the venue.
