Dugan feeling the nerves ahead of comeback

DRAGONS fullback Josh Dugan admits he will be nervous before running out for his first game of 2014, against the Rabbitohs at the SCG on Saturday.

Dugan will return from a knee injury which he sustained against the same team in the pre-season Charity Shield fixture.

"To be honest, I'm a little bit nervous coming back into a team that's gelled so well after that tough loss against Souths in the Charity Shield," he said.

Dugan also acknowledged it would be hard to leave out the man who has filled in admirably at fullback over the first four rounds.

His replacement, Adam Quinlan, has scored two tries and has impressed under the high ball for the competition co-leaders.

"He's one of those players that turns up anywhere and can score those tries from nothing," Dugan said.

Bulldogs forward Frank Pritchard re-aggravated an old ankle injury against the Storm last round, with club officials unsure how long he would be out for.

The Roosters entered an early guilty plea regarding the grade-two high tackle charge against front-rower Jared Waerea-Hargreaves from the clash against Manly last Friday night.

That means he will miss the game against the Bulldogs at Allianz Stadium this Friday night.
