Drink drivers face the consequences in magistrates court

DRINK drivers have again found themselves in the Gladstone Magistrates Court.

Joshua Steven Hoe, 22, returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.142% on the Dawson Hwy at Gladstone.

Hoe was fined $900 and disqualified from driving for four months.

Mark Savage, 45, received a two-month licence disqualification and a $550 fine after returning a blood alcohol reading of 0.098% on Dawson Rd.

Leasa Ann Sempf, 44, received a $1500 fine after returning a blood alcohol reading of 0.233%, and her licence was disqualified for a year.

Jullian Turuhi Waiari received a $1200 fine and had his licence disqualified for three months after he was caught driving with a blood alcohol reading of 0.055%.

Brent John Watson was fined $1200 and had his licence disqualified for 10 months.

The 26-year-old returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.159% on the Bruce Hwy.

Shaun Patrick Marshall, 26, received a $1600 fine for a blood-alcohol reading of 0.169% and was disqualified for eight months.
