Driver walks away from vehicle stuck in floodwater

A DRIVER has walked away from his vehicle stuck in floodwater on Freshwater Crt at Deepwater, south-east of Miriam Vale.

Agnes Water Queensland Fire and Rescue Auxiliary service officers attended the scene to find the man was already out of the vehicle.

An ambulance service was called to the scene but later cancelled as it was not needed.

State Emergency Service Miriam Vale group leader Terry Shelly said, "People need to remember, if it's flooded, forget it."
