Driver fined after losing control of car on Dawson Hwy

A MINOR single-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning resulted in one person being issued with a traffic infringement notice.

The driver of a Suzuki Swift sedan was issued with a ticket for failing to keep proper control of a vehicle, after the crash on the corner of Dawson Hwy and Penda Ave at 7.45am.

In other police news, offenders smashed windows in two units at Goondoon St overnight Thursday.

Police said an object had been thrown through the window.

No entry was gained, but Gladstone Police have asked anyone with information to contact them immediately on 4971 3222.
