Driver fails to give way, causes crash in Auckland St

A DRIVER has been issued with a traffic infringement notice for failing to give way after a crash in Gladstone on Thursday night.

A Ford Falcon and a Toyota Camry collided at 6.45pm in Auckland St. 

No injuries were reported.

In other police news, Gladstone police have intercepted two alleged drink drivers overnight.

A 29-year-old man was breath tested in Dixon Drive, Gladstone at 7.30pm on Thursday and allegedly blew 0.062.

An 18-year-old man was intercepted in Central Lane, Gladstone at 3.30am on Friday and allegedly had a blood alcohol content of 0.116.

Both will face court at a later date.
