Drink drivers: Man caught at almost four times legal limit

SIX offenders have appeared in court this week for drink-driving in Gladstone:

Stephen Laurence Pallis, 29, gave an alcohol reading of 0.188 on Wenitong St in Gladstone, almost four times the legal limit. He was fined $1250 and disqualified for 11 months. 

Jason Brian Phillips, 34, gave an alcohol reading of 0.181 when he was intercepted on Glenlyon Rd in Gladstone. He was fined $1500 and disqualified for 15 months. 

Leah Ann King, 35, gave an alcohol reading of 0.099 on Martin St at Bororen. She was fined $750 and disqualified for three months. 

Melissa Ann Turner, 24, gave an alcohol reading of 0.054 on Malpas St at Boyne Island. She was fined $350 and disqualified for one month. 

Benjamin Joseph Gosschalk, 28, gave an alcohol reading of 0.147 on Boles St in Gladstone. He was fined $900 and disqualified for six months. 

Benjamin Peter Lowe, 35, gave an alcohol reading of 0.13 on Cremorne Dr in Tannum Sands. He was fined $2000 and disqualified for six months.
