
Warrego Hwy reopens at Minden after petrol spill closure
UPDATE 10.30AM: The Warrego Highway has reopened to traffic after a partial closure this morning.
The Brisbane bound section of the highway was closed at Minden after a fuel tanker spilled large amounts of petrol in the early hours of the morning.
More than 80m of guard rail was damaged and fuel was spilled across a large stretch of the road.

UPDATE 9AM: A TRUCK spilled petrol across the Warrego Highway after it hit a guard rail and punctured its fuel tank.
The vehicle sideswiped the guard rail about 3.55am this morning as it travelled down the highway outside Minden.
More than 80m of guard rail was damaged in the crash and a fuel was spilled across a kilometre of highway.
Brisbane bound lanes have been shut down and traffic had been diverted as crews clean-up the spill.
No one was injured
EARLIER: THE Warrego Highway at Minden has been closed while emergency services clean up a diesel spill.
The road closure is affecting Brisbane-bound traffic.
Police say diversions are in place via Tallegalla Rd, Rosewood Rd to Marburg.
