A day to remember: drunk and naked

IF YOU needed a reason not to drink on Anzac Day or any public holiday, here's why.

A 36-year-old man from Yeppoon was caught yesterday drunk, driving, naked and stealing.

It was reported the man walked into the Caltex service station at Benaraby at 2.30pm, appeared intoxicated or drug affected, and started putting items down his boardshorts.

The man left the service station and according to one witness got in to a ute naked and left.

Soon after police from Tannum Sands caught up with the man where he was charged with unlicenced driving and drink driving.

The man blew 0.147 over the limit and his ute was immobilised for 90 days.
