DASHCAM: Trike and car collide in dramatic crash

A DASHBOARD-mounted camera has captured a dramatic scene after a high-powered Tricycle struck the side of a car, sending its rider skidding across the bitumen into oncoming traffic.

The footage uploaded by Dash Cam Owners Australia appears to have been filmed on Tuesday, judging by the time and date stamp.

In the video, a tricycle rider is shown quickly approaching the rear of a car, before coming in contact with the side of the vehicle as it changes lanes.

The trike flips on to its side, while its rider is flung on to the ground and spun around from the force.
