Dash cam footage shows heated road rage incident

A ROAD rage incident between two four-wheel-drivers has been captured on a dash cam.

A man driving from Gladstone to Mackay recorded the incident which started just north of Sarina earlier this month.

The driver who had the dash cam was checking to see if it was safe to overtake, when the driver of a vehicle in front started hitting the brakes repeatedly.

"I came cruising up behind this bloke not thinking much of his speed, just getting as close as you safely can to try and overtake and not tailgate," the man wrote on the Dash Cam Owners Australia Facebookpage.

"He obviously couldn't handle being overtaken when doing 20km/h under the limit, so resorts to causing an accident and getting violent."

VIDEO WARNING: EXTREME LANGUAGE

The driver in front touches his brakes three times on the stretch between Sarina and Mackay, with the dash cam driver nearly running into the back of the vehicle.

In Mackay, the video shows the front vehicle cutting in then braking and stopping in the middle of the road.

The driver gets out of the car and has a heated discussion with the dash cam driver, before getting back in his vehicle and driving off.
