Highway speeder clocked at 147kmh

A MAN is facing a six-month licence disqualification after allegedly being clocked driving at just under 150kmh on the Cunningham Hwy recently.

Boonah police said the 40-year-old Darra man was issued with a ticket for high-end speeding after being intercepted at Mutdapilly, about 20km south of Ipswich, at 12.35pm on April 11.

Police will allege the man was travelling 147kmh in a 100 zone.
