Dangerous bikie wanted by Tweed police

TWEED Byron Local Area Command Police are searching for a man connected with a notorious outlaw motorcycle gang but have warned the public not to approach him as he may be armed.

Police this afternoon issued an urgent appeal to locate 28-year-old Gary Brush, wanted in connection with outstanding warrants in New South Wales and Queensland as well as serious offences committed in the Tweed.

He is also wanted for breach of parole in Qld.

Brush, who bears tattoos proclaiming his allegiance to OMG the Lone Wolves, was last sighted around Palm Beach in Qld, but may be living anywhere within the Northern Rivers or Gold Coast.

In a statement, police warned the public not to approach the man should he be seen.

"If any member of the community sights Brush they should not approach this man as he is known for acts of violence and may be carrying weapons," police said.

Brush is described as 180cm to 190cm tall, between 100kg and 110kg, of solid build, caucasian, with fair skin and short brown hair.

Anyone with information is urged to contact police immediately at Triple Zero (000), their local police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
