Cyclist issued with ticket after being hit by a car

A CYCLIST has been issued with a traffic infringement notice after he was hit by a car last Thursday afternoon.

The 16-year-old rider was issued with a ticket for riding a bike across a pedestrian crossing, after he was struck by a car on Chapman Dr.

The rider suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment by Queensland Ambulance Service officers.
