Time to dress to impress at Gladstone Cup
HUNDREDS of people are expected to turn out today for the Gladstone Cup race meet, which will be a day for bets and fashion.
In the year's biggest race at the Gladstone Turf Club, it'll be an open field, with last year's champion, Interview, not in the mix.
But there's more to it than betting and racing.
It's a day when men and women step out in some of their most fashionable clothing.
Divine Avenue has race wear in stock suited to the occasion, with fascinators and shoes to match.
As we're blessed with a warm winter, it's a great race day to sport some colours and patterns.
Divine Avenue owner Amber Baumgart said two-piece outfits were very popular this season.
"A lot of people have also been buying block colours too," she said.
"Lace is always popular for race days too."
