Crows pair fit to take on Power in Oval showdown

ADELAIDE Crows coach Brenton Sanderson admits he is wary of Port Adelaide's running game, but said he wasn't concerned about bringing midfielders Brent Reilly and Richard Douglas into his team this week.

Reilly hasn't played since a shoulder reconstruction eight months ago, while Douglas suffered bleeding in his groin in a trial against GWS three weeks ago.

"We have spoken to his (Reilly's) surgeon, (and) that shoulder is not going to pop out. They have really wound that tight," Sanderson said.

"We can't get those guys better prepared. Douglas (pictured) wouldn't have lost anything in those weeks, so he'll be a really good inclusion for us as well."

The teams will clash this afternoon at the redeveloped Adelaide Oval. The new playing surface measures 167m long x 123m wide. Of all the AFL grounds, only Patersons Stadium (122m), ANZ Stadium (118m) and Simonds Stadium (115m) are narrower.
