Crowds soak up sun and show
IT WAS a day for families, friends and fun.
Hundreds turned out for the 120th Gladstone Show yesterday.
It was all sunny skies as the smells of candy floss, dagwood dogs and hot chips filled the air.
Show bags, rides, stalls and stilt walking brought in the crowds.
But demo derbies, free style motocross, and fire works kept them there until late.
Show-goers enjoyed the day off but many commented it was too expensive and there was a need for more rides for little kids.
