Crash driver given ticket for following too closely

A DRIVER has been charged for following too closely after a two-vehicle crash in Gladstone on Wednesday afternoon.

The incident, in which one car ran into the back of the other, happened at 5.10pm on the corner of Don Young Drive and the Dawson Hwy.

The vehicles involved were a Hyundai Getz driven by a 68-year-old man and a Holden Barina driven by a 21-year-old man.

No injuries were reported to police.

The 68-year-old man was issued with a ticket for following too closely.
